Who is your favorite pagan band?
they're not listed, but Within Temptation is one of my favorites.
Their sound is part Celtic harp, and part hard rock. Beautiful.
You can see their videos on YouTube.
here are some of their lyrics.

Reply:Hey, there's a distinct lack of trad Scandinavian stuff there. My favorite pagan bands are Gjallarhorn (from Finland) and Hedningarna (from Sweden). They're kick-*** pagan neo-folk. Check out the North Side website. Another great website for that kind of stuff is CD Roots, where you can browse the Scandinavian page.
I also really like the Theodish singer Ælfric, who does authentic Anglo-Saxon galdors, including prayers to the gods. You can find his stuff at the Theod website.
And BTW, if you like Celtic music, you should check out the Swedish and Finnish stuff... you'll love it. Get Gjallarhorn's CD "Sjofn" -- all the North Side stuff is available on iTunes. Download the track "Suvetar."

Reply:I know Loreena McKennitt isn't Pagan, but she does a lot of celtic music that I find very calming. I'm afraid I've only ever heard of Spiral Dance, though not heard their stuff.
Reply:She isn't a band, but Laura Powers is my favorite singer of Pagan-related music.
Reply:I guess I'd better check these guys out, as I haven't heard of any of them
