Why did the movie end with Rose and Sharon still in the misty version of the world
Silent Hill Movie?
they are both dead they are souls and they ended up going to silent hill but these souls at rest and once they did then they themselves could rest.

Reply:I just watched that movie and i'm confused as hell, I have no idea what it meant.
Reply:They didn't escape. And that wasn't Rose. That was the darkness, the reaper, whatever. It was only Rose's body at that point. The theory is they are all dead already.
Reply:One idea is that they're dead, you could also say that since they entered this separate dimension, so to speak, and destroyed it that they can't come back from it.
Reply:In Silent Hill 2( the video game) it has the husband going back to S H to find his family and explains more of what happened. The ending of the movie left it open for a sequel.
