SILENT HILL questions please help?!?!?

im basicly confused about the whole movie but i have a few questions??





ok so in the begining why was sharon called to silent hill?


in the begining why were there no people around?


wat was that strange figure thing that the police officer had to kill?


in the cave where it was burning wat were those things coming towards rose?


where rose was going ot the devil wat we those bodies?


and in the endwas wat that thing in the bed.?? and why did it kill all the people wiht those wires??

SILENT HILL questions please help?!?!?
Okay, I might be wrong on a few so just bear with me. I will give you my opinion.





1. Sharon was called to Silent Hill because she was the spawn of Alessa and was the link for Alessa to get Rose there in order to bring about the sequence of events that would ultimately carry out the final revenge on the church people.





2. No people were around in the beginning (assuming you are talking about the town of Silent Hill when Rose arrives) because it is in the other dimension.





3. The strange creature that the policewoman had to shoot was one of the evil entities that exists in the alternate dimension (call it a demon, monster, whatever...an abomination).





4. In the burning underground mines, I assume you were talking about at the end when Rose is looking downwards, in which case it was the coils of barbed wire, the Reaper (a.k.a. the little Alessa entitiy/the Devil) and Alessa herself.





5. All the bodies that Rose was seeing (and/or monsters) were entities and things that existed in the other dimension.





6. The thing in the bed at the end was Alessa (the little girl they burned as a witch when she was a child) as an adult now, and she was using her powers given to her by the Reaper to exact revenge on the church people who burned her.
Reply:I honestly have no idea about that movie. Made no sense to anyone. It was just there to be scary and it failed at that, too. I guess that is what you get when you watch a video game turned movie.
Reply:Sharon was part of the girl that died in Silent Hill long ago. So she remembered the place.





There were no people around cause the town had been vacant for years do to the accident. Then at some point Rose, Sharon and Cybil crossed over to the land of the dead where the people were. At that point they were in the hell given to the townspeople, which is where all the odd bodies are from (representing the people who died in the accident).





The thing in the bed was the little girl who was burned because she got raped (Alyssa). Alyssa created Sharon from herself, and hid her in the real world.





Alyssa killed the people because they burned her to death.

Reply:the thing in the bed was sharon when she was like adopted by that girl that had sharon in the begining because they thought she was a witch so they killed her and the husband could not see sharon and the mother when they thought they were home because the town was abandoned and the town caught on firethe bodys that burned in the fire they were like slugs from that big thing that had this big helmet on they were like his army they were the people that were dead or died you asked the same question and you need to know how to type I can barely read that sentence you typed the little girl killed them because they did that to her and plus she got raped by the Jantior.
Reply:Its one of those movies that you have to play the game. I never played it, but some things are logical, but some I am still having problems with.
Reply:well, the Silent Hill movie was based on a video game series by the same title, all the creatures in SH were basically damned versions of the people who wronged the little girl. there were two different dimension, our world and the foggy silent hill one that the mom and daughter were in, the "thing" in the bed was the evil version of her daughter and it killed those people because they were the ones who had her burned because "she was a witch"
Reply:Ok, so I've played all four Silent Hill games and have the movie. I love them to death and still don't fully understand all of it. Those crazy japanese creators are just too confusing. :-p





But anyway, I have to agree with that Torey person. Most of it is spot on.








There were no people in Silent Hill because of the continuing Coal Fires underground. Remember all the ash that was falling from the sky? People left the town because it was dangerous to be there.





The creature that spit the black acid, that the police officer Cybil shot at, was called either a Lying Figure or Patient Demon. I can't remember which one, because they're similar. I think they're supposed to represent former Silent Hill victims trying to get out of the town (like the creature looks like it's trying to get out of a straight jacket made of it's own skin). Or so I've heard.





I'm not possitive, but I think the little burning monsters that came towards Rose are called Grey Child(ren).
