Rose of Sharon bushes. Are they fast growing? We planted 2 to hide an area in our back yard. We just planted them and they are about 2 foot tall plants right now. I have found some info online but can't find anything about the growth rate. Thanks for any answers.

It is a medium growth rate tree, meaning it will grow between 13 - 24 inches a year, reaching a total of 6 - 10 feet at maturity.
Reply:Yes! Yes! Yes! Did you know that they are actually a weed? Yes, and you know weeds grow fast so do these and they give off the most wonderful flowers! I have 6 that I planted 4 yrs ago and they are AMAZING now, full sun and good water now and then and you will get years of full growth and plenty of bloom out of them.
