I have to write a monologue about any of the major charcters in the Grapes of Wrath at a specific point in the book
I'm thinking of doing Rose of Sharon probably...but any ideas about when the monologue should take place
---or any ideas about monologues on another character

How about Gramma...you know, how she died and all and they couldn't tell because they wouldn't have allowed the family to cross the state line.
Reply:you should definitely consider the ending of the novel when she breast feeds the starving man. This shows that there is hope in every situation and that good things can come from tragedy.
