some have grown tall about 5' now and others are still small and not growing as quickly. also some of the leaves are turning yellow
What kind of food do i feed my rose of sharon?
The rose of sharon is one tough plant-- agree with the miricle grow-- check out the water-- see if some is watered more than others. If you have clay soil-- you may have the "bathtub effect"-- this is when the hole you dug is in clay and the roots are having a very hard time breaking out of the "hole"--
I planted three maple trees at the same time-- the smallest took 5 years to begin growing-- I took fireplace ashes-- a large sack full spread over the root zone in the fall-- the winter rains get it into the ground-- after one application-- the tree apparently got what was needed and began to grow. Hardwood ashes are what potash is derived from-- which helps roots to grow.
