What kind of food do i feed my rose of sharon?

some have grown tall about 5' now and others are still small and not growing as quickly. also some of the leaves are turning yellow

What kind of food do i feed my rose of sharon?
The rose of sharon is one tough plant-- agree with the miricle grow-- check out the water-- see if some is watered more than others. If you have clay soil-- you may have the "bathtub effect"-- this is when the hole you dug is in clay and the roots are having a very hard time breaking out of the "hole"--





I planted three maple trees at the same time-- the smallest took 5 years to begin growing-- I took fireplace ashes-- a large sack full spread over the root zone in the fall-- the winter rains get it into the ground-- after one application-- the tree apparently got what was needed and began to grow. Hardwood ashes are what potash is derived from-- which helps roots to grow.
