i am in northern central kentucky...you should have enough time to transplant them if you do it now....i normally transplant trees in early spring because that gives the roots more time to get established but if you are in a situation that you cant wait till early spring do it now while the ground is still warm
after transplanting apply mulch around the base and a little way out to help keep the ground warmer thus giving the roots more time to grow
Does anyone know when the best time is to transplant Rose of Sharon's in Southern Kentucky ?
Either fall or spring. And the things seed themselves so freely, I'll give you plenty.:-)
Reply:during the sping but dont do it so ofthen
Reply:when they go dormant...usually towards the end of Oct thruough the beginning of Mar sounds about right for Kentucky
