I have read that it is thought that they died in the car wreck in the begining but if that is so then would you really be afraid of dying again? Maybe the writers just assumed we wouldn't notice??? And if Sharon and Rose did die due to the darkness wouldn't they just go to heaven??? Ok I guess I need to go to bed now......

Im guessing that they werent aware that they were dead until the end of the movie and maybe if the evil monsters got them and killed them again while they were already dead their souls would go to hell. im not sure but maybe they had something unfinished so they didnt go to heaven just like many souls stay on earth for having some unfinished business so maybe after they returned to their home they went to heaven later, im just guessing but thats the only explanation i can find, also did any of you notice how the message she left her husband was all weird kind of like the messages that were on the movie white noise?
Reply:That movie didn't have a Heaven.. lol.. but good question.. where the heck are they!!!! Maybe they died... ghosts don't usually know they are dead, right, because of their unfinished business? I dunno...
Reply:They did die...but i'm still uncertain about some of the things. Like why would they be so scared and what not if they were already dead.
Reply:They are in their own home, they are ghosts that is why her husband is unable to see them.
