Rose of sharon-GRAPES OF WRATH?

IM DOING A PAPER ON THE TRANSFORMATION OF HOW ROSE OF SHARON IS MATURE IN THE END AND HER TRANSFORMATION...IF ANYONE IS A GOOD WRITER.OR JUST KNOWS A LOT ABOUT THE BOOK,CAN YOU GIVE ME SOME IDEAS AND POSSIBLY SOME QUOTES THAT I CAN WORK WITH? THANK YOU SO MUCH

Rose of sharon-GRAPES OF WRATH?
It's been a long time since I've read the book, but I think Rose of Sharon didn't really care that much about anybody except her baby. And even with that, it seemed more like she loved the *idea* of her baby, the idea of being a perfect mother and having a perfect baby. Everyone else fell to second place in her heart. After everything she goes through by the end of the book, she finally has enough strength to do something incredibly intimate and personal to help a total stranger. And I think she even found some comfort in the fact that she could do that.

Hope this helps!
