IF I PLANT MY ROSE OF SHARON OUTSIDE NOW THE RABBITS WILL GET THEM
I Started my rose of sharon in side how long do i dare keep them inside before i put them outside. .?
as soon as weather has settled down as being warm. I have rose of Sharon's planted all over as edge plants and they are hardy,rabbits don't eat them.they may sit under them, as I have many rabbits that eat clover.
Reply:A ring of chicken wire, around the plants, securely fastened to some stakes would get you by.
Reply:You can start to harden them off on warmer days now by putting the pots out in a sheltered spot. Then plant out when the risk of frost has gone. I have several and the rabbits have never touched them
Reply:when they'll have better conditions outside than they have now inside.... and the wire cage is a great idea!!!....
